Happy Within - improving wellbeing
Mark is regularly a part of events at The Foundry in Southampton.
Each month, The Foundry introduces its members to a wellbeing expert who will share insights and advice on how to maintain a healthy work-life balance, manage stress, and optimize your overall wellbeing. In these sessions, members have the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions, ask questions, and gain practical tips and techniques to implement in your daily lives.
During Mark Darcy’s session the group discussed:

Have you always said that you would improve your wellbeing but have never committed?
Want to increase your life expectancy by up to 10 years?
You will definitely take away things to improve your wellbeing. It would be very strange not to choose to spend your time on your wellbeing. It will be the best investment you will ever make.
IKEA really did kick the year off in the right direction, investing in their staff's well-being and health while having meaningful conversations to improve their lives in the beautiful New Forest.
Everyone learnt something, had a wonderful time by trying a new experience that creates new feelings, and improved their well-being and health. Most significantly, the talk's emphasis on living in the now was accomplished, which is not easy!
